The West Vancouver Bylaw and Licensing Services Department is currently seeking a temporary full-time Bylaw Enforcement Officer to join our highly qualified team for approximately a four (4) month period.
- Reporting to the Manager of Bylaw & Licensing Services, this is inspectional, regulatory, and investigative work related to the enforcement of municipal bylaws. The work involves extensive public relations contact which requires action with tact and diplomacy and is performed within policy, bylaws and regulation limits. The more difficult problems and policy matters are referred to a superior who reviews work performance for conformance to established policies and procedures and the effectiveness of enforcement operations.
Position Status:
Union (WVMEA) - Temporary, Full-Time (approximately four [4] months)
Hours of Work:
40 hours per week (hours and days of work may vary)
Starting Rate of Pay:
$34.29 per hour.
