Relevant du responsable de la production télécom, le technicien de test effectue les tests électriques et optiques des unités de production.
- Le travailleur doit posséder la capacité de raisonner, d'analyser et une compréhension des mathématiques de base
- Nécessite une compréhension des procédures de test de production
- Capacité à identifier l'outillage et l'équipement requis
- Effectuer la calibration, les tests d'acceptation et d'inspection des produits et créer des certificats de tests ou des fiches techniques.
- Aide au développement et à l'optimisation de la conception
- Entretenir les montages de tests et l'équipement pour assurer la conformité.
- Enregistrer les résultats des tests dans la base de données informatique et / ou les feuilles de procédures de test requises par le client.
- Tenez des registres précis et des fichiers de données ordonnés
- Effectuer toutes autres tâches et affectations connexes au besoin
- Analyser les retours des clients (RMA Telecom) - évaluer, réparer, documenter et rapporter les résultats
- Connaissance pratique du fusionnement et de la manipulation des fibres optiques, de la conception laser à fibre, des composants et systèmes à fibre optique, des réseaux de Bragg et des technologies connexes.
- Compétences de niveau intermédiaire à avancé avec les logiciels Microsoft Office (par exemple, Excel, Visio, Word).
- Bonnes compétences en communication écrite et verbale, en français et en anglais
- Capacité à bien travailler de manière autonome et / ou en équipe
- Capable de hiérarchiser la charge de travail et de respecter les délais
- Compétences d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes

Reporting to Telecom Production Manager, **Test Technician** performs both electrical and optical testing of production units.
- Worker must possess the ability to reason, analyze and display understanding of basic math skills
- Requires understanding of production test procedures
- Ability to identify tooling and equipment required
- Perform calibration, acceptance tests and inspection of products and creates Certificates of tests or datasheets.
- Assists in development and design optimization
- Maintains test fixtures and equipment to assure compliance.
- Record test results into computer database and/or customer required test procedure sheets.
- Keep accurate records and orderly data files
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
- Analyze customer’s returns ( RMA Telecom ) - evaluate, repair, document and report findings
- Hands-on knowledge of fiber splicing & handling, fiber laser design, fiber-optic components and systems, bragg gratings and related technologies.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office software (e.g. Excel, Visio, Word).
- Good communication skills both written and verbal, in both French and English
- Ability to work well independently and/or part of a team
- Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Effective analytical and problems solving skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
