Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and breakdown treatment rooms
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Perform various office tasks as needed
- Job is for 4 days, Monday to Thursday, roughly 8 hour per day. It is a lifestyle office job with no evening hours or weekends
- **Assistant should be willing to travel to our two locations, Hamilton and Brantford. 2 days in each location per week**

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant, minimum 1 year experience
- Knowledge of dentistry practices and procedures
- Experience of assisting in orthodontic office is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Certification or associate degree in dental assisting
