Edsby Facilitator (FDK - Gr. 12)
Temporary 1.0 FTE is available for the 2023-2024 academic year

**Position Start Date**: September 2023
**DESCRIPTION**:
The Edsby Facilitator will work collaboratively in schools to support the implementation of Edsby as an effective learning management system. The position will receive a responsibility allowance.
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Education, the facilitator will:
Provide training/coaching/support on the various components of Edsby
Facilitate co-learning, co-teaching, and other job-embedded professional learning
Support educators to facilitate opportunities for parent engagement through the various components of Edsby
Lead and participate in professional learning opportunities
Connect the tools in Edsby to Growing Success (Assessment for, as and of Learning, Reporting, IEP’s, etc.) and the Ontario Curriculum
Create teacher resources to support implementation
Work collaboratively with administrators, the Edsby Working Group, and the board team, including IMS
Liaise with staff at Edsby
Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Education
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Must be qualified in three of the four basic qualifications (primary, junior, intermediate, senior)
Experience teaching in three and/or four divisions is an asset
Religious Education Part 1
French as a Second Language is an asset
Special Education Part 1 is an asset
Successful teaching experience including effective implementation of all elements of Growing Success
**REQUIREMENTS**:
Proficiency with technology
Proven ability to implement ‘Assessment for, as and of Learning’ in daily practice
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Superior interpersonal skills
Well developed facilitation skills
Ability to work both independently and in groups
Ability to travel throughout the jurisdiction of the board
