**Inventory Analyst**

PURPLE was founded in 2017 at the intersection of industrial design, streetwear, and luxury fashion. A collective of friends and industry veterans set out to launch a collection of men’s denim and luxury basics. We have established a rapidly growing market in Canada and the US over the past 6 years; now we have our sights set on global expansion.

We are currently seeking Inventory Analyst to join our in-office team in Vancouver, BC. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Inventory Analyst will be responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity by performing daily discrepancy investigation and analysis. This role requires a strong aptitude for data analysis, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of inventory management principles.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Develop and implement strategies to achieve inventory accuracy goals, gaining acceptance from stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate cycle counts, including physical counts, to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct thorough investigations and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies (book to physical), performing root cause analysis to identify underlying issues.
- Take necessary actions to resolve inventory issues and adjust as required.
- Analyze and generate reports on inventory count data for relevant stakeholders.
- Provide support to team members by assisting with ad-hoc reporting and analytical activities as needed.
- Process returns to vendor requests and manage receiving activities.
- Proactively anticipate inventory discrepancies and address business needs accordingly.
- Project the demand for different channels.
- Work with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure smooth inventory management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on assigned projects.

**Requirements**:

- Business or accounting education background preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in the industry or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows OS and MC Office software.
- Advanced/proficient skills in Excel, including expertise in functions like "VLOOKUP" and "SUMIF" and the ability to work with large data sets.
- Advanced experience working with NetSuite and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize duties, multitask, and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, critical thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally.
