**Project Manager**

Our team based in Montreal, Quebec is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the planning and tracking for our internal software development teams.

Core Responsibilities:

- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management and team leads (time, manpower, equipment, etc.)
- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and outlines the activities needed to successfully complete the project
- Review the project schedule with senior management and leads and revise as needed
- Gather and document requirements from management and team leads
- Document and report project activities to management and internal teams
- Monitor the progress of the project and adjust as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Establish a communication schedule to update key stakeholders and staff on the progress of the project
- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
- Define project impacts and educate leads and team members on planning impacts
- Ensure that the project deliverables are on time and at the required level of quality
- Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Gestionnaire de projet**

Notre équipe basée à Montréal, Québec, est à la recherche d'un gestionnaire de projet pour superviser la planification et le suivi de nos équipes internes de développement de logiciels.

Principales responsabilités:

- Définir la portée du projet en collaboration avec la haute direction et les chefs d'équipe (temps, main-d'œuvre, équipement, etc.).
- Créer un plan de travail détaillé qui identifie et décrit les activités nécessaires pour mener à bien le projet.
- Examiner le calendrier du projet avec la direction et les chefs d'équipe et le réviser si nécessaire.
- Recueillir et documenter les exigences de la direction et des chefs d'équipe
- Documenter et rendre compte des activités du projet à la direction et aux équipes internes
- Contrôler l'avancement du projet et procéder aux ajustements nécessaires pour garantir la réussite du projet.
- établir un calendrier de communication pour informer les principales parties prenantes et le personnel de l'avancement du projet
- Examiner régulièrement la qualité du travail accompli avec l'équipe de projet pour s'assurer qu'il répond aux normes du projet.
- Identifier les lacunes et les risques et appliquer les techniques de gestion de projet pour les atténuer
- Définir les impacts du projet et former les responsables et les membres de l'équipe aux impacts de la planification.
- Veiller à ce que les produits livrables du projet soient livrés dans les délais et au niveau de qualité requis.
- Travailler en coopération et de manière efficace avec d'autres personnes pour fixer des objectifs, résoudre des problèmes et prendre des décisions qui améliorent l'efficacité de l'organisation.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a similar field
- At least 5 years or more of experience in Project Management
- At least 3 years or more working in software development field
- Knowledge of R&D and IT processes (Agile/Scrum)
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs: MS Project (or equivalent), Excel, Issue/Change Order tracking tools (Jira a +)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities
- Very strong communication skills and strong ability to speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques
- Good decision-making skills to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization
- Experience working with projects for Fortune 500 companies
- Excellent communication skills in English and French
- PMP certification is an asset

Working Conditions:

- Travel less than 10%
- Project Managers work a standard work week but may be required to work some evenings and weekends to meet project milestones.
