The Ministry of the Solicitor General, Ontario Provincial Police, and the Fleet, Supply & Weapons Services Bureau is seeking a qualified individual to join our Print Services Unit.

**About Us**:
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is one of North America's largest deployed police services with more than 5,800 uniformed officers, 2,400 civilian employees and 830 Auxiliary officers. Fleet, Supply and Weapons Services Bureau (FSWSB), through a commitment to customer service, ensures that the OPP is equipped to meet its public safety mandate in an increasingly complex and challenging policing environment. The Bureau is comprised of highly skilled personnel from diverse backgrounds that work cooperatively with customers and stakeholders to research, develop and deliver equipment to position the OPP as a leader in modern policing.

What can I expect to do in this role?
To provide a full range of pre-production, production and post-production printing services.

How do I qualify?
Mandatory
- Ability to pass an OPP background security investigation.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Proficient in operating a range of equipment essential for operations, including collating, and punching machines, heavy-duty paper drills, guillotines/cutters, creaser/slitters, laminators, and finishing and binding equipment. Skilled in utilizing this equipment to produce professionally finished printed materials.
- Knowledge of Procedures related to the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) for the safe handling, storage and distribution of toners and other chemicals used in the Print Shop.
- Skilled in the calibration of colour scales, setting up and managing colour profiles, operating a digital and photo imagery system and maintaining an electronic database of documents and images. ;
- Proficient oral communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with staff and clients regarding production timelines, required materials, and formats etc. Capable of addressing production issues, proposing solutions, and recommending cost-effective alternatives for printing services, demonstrating a strong customer focus.
- Skilled in making recommendations for reordering based on established inventory levels.
