We are a small company running a large format printer.

This printer allows for the printing of large format prints. This includes signage for real estate, printing on mats, and retail signage.

We are looking for someone who wants to be a printer technician.

We recognize that we are operating out of Orillia, ON and it’s unlikely you have printer experience with a **Large Format Printer EFI Pro 16H LED.**

If you do have printing experience or something similar that would be ideal. You could also have experience in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop design skills.

Either one of these would set you apart from other applicants.

Even if you have no experience in either of these areas, a high attention to detail and logic is an asset.

**Here is what your day would look like**:
You’ll show up between 8-10pm, the schedule is flexible. You will need to choose a time. Once you arrive, you’ll grab a coffee and look at the work orders for the day. You’ll go through the design documents to ensure that they are what you need for the days printing. You’ll go through the printer start-up list to ensure the machine is set up correctly.

You’ll process the day print jobs with the utmost care and attention to detail to ensure our customers are well served. You’ll package up the printing for delivery. You’ll work with other team members or ship yourself, depending on the order.

After you process the orders, you’ll do your end-of-day checks. You’ll close down the machine and perform any needed maintenance based on the maintenance schedule.

You’ll look at the orders for the upcoming day and check to see if the design items are what you need. If not, you’ll collaborate with customers or other team members to ensure you are set up for success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain advanced printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and enhance your technical expertise by learning all aspects of printer operations and troubleshooting issues.
- Create custom print profiles for various substrates, ensuring high-quality results across different projects.
- Collaborate closely with graphic designers and layout artists to execute print projects to perfection.
- Manage production schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Conduct quality control inspections on printed materials, maintaining the highest standards of output.
