**Position Summary**
Edmonton Exchanger is a one-stop manufacturing and maintenance shop that supplies pressure vessel components, field services, machining, heat exchangers, custom fabrication and pipe fabrication.
We are searching for an energetic, self-motivated individual to apprentice in our machine shop. Edmonton Exchanger features a diverse range of machining capabilities that include lathes, and both vertical and horizontal boring mills. Our machine shop was designed to handle large diameter components and boasts equipment that is some of the largest of its kind.

- Beginner rate - $21.55/hour
- 1styear apprentice rate - $25.50/hour
- 2ndyear apprentice rate - $31.87/hour
- 3rdyear apprentice rate - $38.25/hour
- Journeyman rate - $42.50/hour
- 5% Statutory Holiday pay
- 4% Vacation pay for first year - increases to 6% after one year
- $3.00 Hourly RRSP Contribution after 3 months
- $2.11 Hourly Equivalent of Health/Dental/STD/LTD Benefits Package after 3 months
**Reporting Relationships**
Individual will report directly to the Machine Shop foreman.

**Qualifications**
The following qualifications are desirable to ensure success in this position:
- Strong focus on safety, integrity and reliability
- Take direction and execute jobs as instructed
- Self motivated
- Willing to work swing shift, which is 2 weeks on 7:30am to 4:00pm shift and 2 weeks on 4:00pm to 12:30am shift on a rotating basis.
