**POSITION: MANAGER, DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING $ CARDIO DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES**
**UNIT: Diagnostic Imagining**
**SALARY: $102,848.85 - $128,013.60**
**Description**:
Reporting to the Vice President, the Diagnostic Imaging Manager provides the vision, strategic direction, leadership and operational management for all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging Services, including Radiology, Computed Tamograpy, Mammography, OBSP, BMD, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Cardio Respiratory and ECG, while keeping in line with STEGH’s mission, vision and values.
This is an opportunity for an experienced leader to showcase their strengths and talents in strategic planning, program evaluation and development while using LEAN leadership and process improvement methodology and principles. The Manager will provide leadership in all aspects of the programs to support the organization in achieving its strategic and operational objectives and to ensure the program supports an excellent patient care experience.
**Skills & Qualifications Required**:
- Bachelors degree in related field, Masters preferred
- Registered Technologist in Radiology, currently registered with CAMRT in Diagnostic Imaging;
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience; preferably in an Acute Care Hospital environment; with proven success managing a Diagnostic Imaging Program
- Experience managing in a Unionized environment an asset;
- Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor, analyze and evaluate operational and capital budgets;
- Experience in quality control, risk management and regulated safety measures in the radiology field;
- Business knowledge and skills in negotiating equipment purchases and contracts;
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop employees during times of change and shift priorities;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to research and implement leading practice and quality based programming in order to exceed industry benchmarks and performance metrics;
- Experience in a LEAN environment with associated LEAN healthcare education (Green Belt level preferred);
- Demonstrated evidence-based decision making, critical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Demonstrated leadership, team development, and facilitation skills coupled with superior interpersonal, relationship and communication skills;
- Demonstrated learning agility and commitment to professional self-development and the development of others;
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a wide range of professionals;
- Willingness to obtain Safety Leadership training certificate (Public Services Health and Safety Association or equivalent) within six (6) months of hire;
