Aseptic Production Leader

Pillar5 Pharma Inc., an industry leading Canadian CDMO specializing in off-the-shelf sterile pharmaceuticals for the North American market, is looking to add world-class aseptic talent to our Operations leadership team. We are located in Arnprior, ON - one of the fastest growing regions of Canada.

We are looking to add people to drive the delivery of quality products to our customers. You will lead teams of to ensure we supply best-in-class product lead on time and to exacting quality standards. You will interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure your production team consistently meets or exceeds our customer service standards and quality KPIs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensures the manufacture of quality products on schedule and according to all customer requirements.
- Manages production KPIs including, labor budget, yield, OEE, etc and ensures target production metrics are consistently met.
- Promotes a continuous improvement environment by promoting and driving Six Sigma and LEAN Manufacturing programs to improve product quality, reduce product cycle times, and improve product yields.
- Contributes to the site Master plans for the aspects related to Sterile/Aseptic facility.
- Authors, reviews, and approves Standard Operating Procedures and other documents to ensure integration of cGMPs and improve process efficiencies.
- Ensures team members follow all SOP’s in compliance with aseptic principles, and adhere to all sterility processes.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with team members through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, productivity, and throughput.
- Ensures that cGMP’s are used and followed during production of products so that all FDA and international regulations are met. Responds to monthly internal audit observations.
- Sets team goals and target and holds organization accountable to meet/exceed goals and deliverables.
- Coordinates investigations, including root cause analyses and corrective/preventative actions.
- Supports all new product launches to ensure product is available according to targeting timelines.
- University degree in a relevant discipline - Life Sciences or Engineering preferred
- A minimum of 5 years aseptic manufacturing experience
- Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience
- Thorough knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
