**Press Operator - Evening Shift**

Our rubber production department is seeking a **Press Operator **to grow their career with us

**Responsibilities/Main Tasks**:

- Cutting tape which is stuck onto our speed humps (in the shape of arrows, etc.)
- Operating Rubber Press Machine
- Checking your workstation and ensuring it is clean and safe
- Reading your recipe carefully
- Cleaning your mold using the mold release and compressed air
- Always check the amount of the mixture that is left after each batch and adjust your equipment accordingly.
- Making sure your product meets quality standards (weight, thickness, hardness, always showcasing the best aesthetics possible)

**What we are looking for**:

- General knowledge of factory machine and equipment operations i.e.; Press, mixer, forklift, scale, pallet jack.
- Knowledge of packaging material and banding equipment
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Possess a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
- Experience in building wooden pallets is an asset

Notre département de production de caoutchouc recherche un **Opérateur de Presse** pour faire évoluer sa carrière avec nous

**Responsabilités/Principales tâches**:

- Découper la bande collée sur nos ralentisseurs de vitesse (sous forme de flèches, etc.)
- Fonctionner la machine à presse en caoutchouc
- Vérifier votre poste de travail et vous assurer qu'il est propre et sécuritaire
- Lire attentivement votre recette
- Nettoyer votre moule à l'aide du démoulant et de l'air comprimé
- Toujours vérifier la quantité de mélange restant après chaque lot et ajuster votre équipement en conséquence.
- Veiller à ce que votre produit respecte les normes de qualité (poids, épaisseur, dureté, en mettant toujours en avant les meilleures esthétiques possibles)

**Ce que nous recherchons**:

- Connaissance générale des opérations de machines et d'équipements d'usine, par exemple : presse, mélangeur, chariot élévateur, balance, transpalette.
- Connaissance des matériaux d'emballage et de l'équipement de cerclage
- Capacité à soulever des objets lourds
- Posséder un fort sens de l'urgence et de la capacité à établir des priorités.
- L'expérience dans la construction de palettes en bois est un atout
