**Job Description**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team, **Monday-Friday on a bi-weekly rotation - 6:30am-3:30pm and 3:00-11:00pm, and 1 Saturday per month.** As a Crane Operator, this position requires strong operation skills, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a crane while supporting the overall operations.
- Safely operate a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility
- Lift and transport metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, and safely place them in designated areas or processing equipment
- Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel
- Conduct pre and post inspections of the crane, including overall crane maintenance
- You may be asked to operator the following heavy equipment: Crane, Shear, Loader
- During any down time, you may be required to perform general yard maintenance, assist the rail team, and perform cleaning around the yard/department circle checks of machinery

**Qualifications**:

- Crane Operator certification and/or experience is required
- Minimum of 1 years of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial setting
- Attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materials
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handling
- Comfortable using various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples
- Familiarity with metal recycling processes, materials, and specifications is advantageous
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and in a heavy industrial environment
