We’re looking for an experienced communications consultant to join our Engagement & Development team. If you’re looking for an opportunity to deliver high quality, strategic internal and external communications in a dynamic environment, this is the position for you.

What you’ll do:
You’ll be a senior member of an engaged group of communicators who are as committed to supporting one another’s success as they are to the success of our business. As an integral part of this talented team, you’ll bring a wealth of experience to your client work and collaboration with colleagues, while continuing to develop your skills and grow professionally.

You’ll manage a portfolio of work, leading internal and external communications plans aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and priorities. A skilled advisor, you’ll consult with internal clients on their communications needs, providing strategic advice and guidance to support their business needs. You’ll oversee all aspects of your projects including coordinating, mentoring and collaborating with colleagues on the planning and delivery.

You’ll also play a lead role in identifying key issues and opportunities to improve communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:
You’re an experienced communicator skilled in the areas of stakeholder engagement, issues management, writing, project management and results measurement. You know your way around planning and evaluation, bringing a strategic lens to developing and implementing communications plans. Your strong consulting, coaching and influencing skills ensure you deliver exceptional service and targeted solutions to meet client and customer needs.

You’re keen to put your stellar verbal and written communication skills to use. A natural storyteller, you know how to translate information into fresh and engaging content and are well-versed in the latest communications tools and technologies. You’re also familiar with the Canadian Press stylebook.

Finally, you’ll have a related degree or diploma in communications, public relations, journalism or similar field, combined with more than five years’ experience in a communications position. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

**Salary**: $78,409 to $92,209 per annum (Salary Grade 11)
