Technical Writer (Full-time)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assess and understand the knowledge and information needs of target audiences
- Interpret technical documentation and translate into user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience
- Write and develop custom training materials (e.g. instructor manuals, theory content, handouts, exercises, tests, competency assessments)

**Experience, Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Two years as a Technical Writer/Researcher or equivalent experience demonstrated by a portfolio of work
- Post secondary education in relevant area of specialization
- Auditing knowledge and experience is an asset
- Experience in developing training materials is an asset
- Experience in developing health and safety manuals is an asset
- Professionalism and demonstration of integrity and honesty while performing responsibilities
- Exceptional research, grammatical and written communication skills in English
- Excellent relationship building, customer service, organizational, analytical and oral communication skills
- Particular attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and time management skills/ability to work to deadlines with shifting priorities
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
