Carlino, one of Kitchen Table Restaurant's latest concepts, is looking for a Banquet Chef to join the leadership team Located in the Shangri-La Hotel, this position leads the Banquet Kitchen Team in the flawless execution of all menu and food items.

As a key member of the Management Team, this role is responsible for the proper management of Banquet operations, breakfast, in room dining and event menu development in collaboration with the Chef de Cuisine, for building and managing the Banquet Team and for the development and training of new and existing staff. The person in this role displays excellent culinary skills, an exemplary work ethic and a dynamic ability to lead and motivate a team. Working in partnership with the Restaurant CDC and the Director of Sales for the hotel, the Banquet Chef keeps their department’s labour costs in line and COGs within their location’s targets.

**You have**:

- 2+ years experience in a senior role on a kitchen team in a fast-paced, high volume environment preferably on a banquet team at a comparable property
- Team player who builds trust with colleagues and can be relied upon for their honesty and integrity
- Strong work ethic and high standards for quality
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Superior organization skills, attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to adhere to company specifications
- Food Safe Level 1
