About the Role: You will assist the Accounting Supervisor by providing basic bookkeeping and collections in-office support with an emphasis on data entry.
NOTE: This is a part-time opportunity with the flexibility of working two days per week plus additional time when needed and when other accounting staff are off.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Supporting the Accounting Supervisor and Director of Finance as needed
- Data entry and reconciliation
- Assisting with expense claim processing
- Assisting with bank deposits
- Monthly Inventory Counting
- Performing additional office duties as required and as compatible with the position
What You Will Bring:
- Bookkeeping experience in a private business setting
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Online would be considered an asset
- Basic Microsoft Excel and data entry skills
- An eye for accuracy and error-checking
