We are currently recruiting for a **Manager, Enterprise Inventory Planning **to join our Enterprise Supply Chain team. This is an on-site role located in Calgary, AB.

**Position Profile**

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Material Management & Logistics, the **Manager, Enterprise Inventory Planning** will hold accountability for the development of the inventory planning process, inventory management, and the stock strategy for the Aftermarket regional distribution centers. Develop, implement, and coordinate the monthly rhythm for inventory plan approvals. Drive improvements in stock availability, and optimization of stock across the DCs. The role is a key part of the Enterprise Materials Management & Logistics leadership team.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of business professionals providing prioritization of work, people management, coaching and support.
- Responsible for Enterprise Inventory Management across all locations: 5 Aftermarket distribution centers, manufacturing locations, MRO locations and offsite storage locations.
- Responsible for the regional stock replenishment from the main distribution center.
- Accountable for the development of strategy and tactics to drive inventory optimization and improvements in overall inventory turnover and availability.
- Working with the Warehouses, stores teams and 3PLs ensure completion of the annual physical inventory counts, and or cycle counts across all locations with root cause analysis and corrective actions on inventory variances to drive continuous improvement of inventory accuracy.
- Develop and implement a monthly inventory plan approval process, with forward plans for inventory by location.
- Develop forward supply plans for key suppliers, and collaboration with internal supply factory.
- Develop and drive the inventory planning policy, processes, standards, methods, systems, controls, and best practices
- Evolve an Enterprise-wide standard planning process aligned with the order management to support improved material availability, revenue assurance and effective product phase in/out.
- Working closely with Finance establish Enterprise level monthly inventory reporting process with status on actions to achieve performance targets.
- Establish Enterprise level inventory reporting and related key performance indicators (KPI).
- Establish standardized Excess and Obsolete inventory reporting and management process, with financial provision recommendations, and plans for management of surplus inventory.
- Managing inventory investment in line with budget and approved plans.

**Education & Experience**
- 10-15 years of experience in demand planning, materials management, inventory management, logistics, distribution, order management, manufacturing and returns management and within a commercial/industrial setting.
- Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, Engineering or aerospace related degree, or equivalent experience. An MBA would be an asset.
- Deep knowledge in planning processes: demand planning, supply planning, new products introduction, material planning and S&OP or IBP processes.
- Experience leading the Demand Review and demand consensus processes in support of a structured S&OP or IBP cycle process.
- Exceptional experience utilizing Demand Planning technology, with the ability to identify and drive system improvements.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and optimization of forecasting methods
- APICS (CPIM), APICS (CSCP) and/or other related supply chain certifications.
- Experience in Lean/ISO9000 environment
- Experience with value stream mapping, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis
- Experience leading people with demonstrated team-building skills.
- Experience with providing oversight, and managing service providers, 3PLs.
- Materials, Logistics, and Purchasing experience would be an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively with people at all organizational levels.
- 5+ years of experience working with formal ERP/MRP
