ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides technical oversight over the Radiography/NOE Contractor.
- Assist with administration of overall NDE Contract and QC services.
- Assist with ensuring records generated are properly maintained.
- Reviews and assesses Contractor tooling & calibration program and its implementation.
- Reviews timesheet for approval.
- Understand the NOE Contract and assist with management of change.
- Coordinate management of change with scheduling and project controls.
- Monitor and verify the performance of the Contractor.
- Day to day management of NDE Contractor.
- Working collaboratively with Project and Quality function team members to NDE needs.
- Ensure the Contractor receives necessary support to perform efficiently (Interface with Bruce Power for space allocation needs in and around station)
- Work on continuous improvement initiatives associated with NOE Contractor.
- Manages reporting requirements for close out.
- Work with all internal and external stake holders to ensure necessary NOE procedures are ready and approved.
- Radiography activity coordination with SPG and NOE Subcontract.
- Closely work with NOE Contractor to manage the field performance of Radiography activity, in terms of time taken, results and reshoot, assessment and interpretation of radiographs.
- Contractor inspection procedure
- Gathers data and provides report on statistics related to Radiography.
- Event review boards. Manages collection of information required to satisfy the reporting requirements and management review. Ensures corrective actions and sign-backs are completed in a timely manner with the contractor.
- Ensure alignment between RT Contractor and SPG as it relates to naming conventions and weld numbers and consistency in RT reports.
- Identifies adverse trends in performance and notifies contract manager and quality of need for formal corrective action requests of contractor.
- Ensure contingency plans are in place with contractor and are available for use should the situation arise in the field. This includes alternate equipment, critical spares, etc.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Technical education or equivalent experience.
- 5 years + experience in NDE.
- ASNT or CGSB qualifications for PT & RT - Preferred.
- 5 years + of NDE coordination experience.
- Basic knowledge of cost and schedule control and management. Experience managing 3rd party NDE Contractor.
- Knowledge and experience with film review and interpretation.
- Hands on experience with Radiography and Liquid Penetrant Examination.
- Welding inspector qualification is a preferred skill.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver and perform tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Experience working in a Nuclear Power plant is preferred.
- Ability to work in various work locations (both in office and site)
- Ability to travel as necessary
