**RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Working alongside equipment to excavate hydro trenches, cleaning up construction debris, hand shoveling and racking for rough grade, snow shoveling and tarp removal
- Other housekeeping duties and responsibilities
- Ability to take direction from Foreman and team members on site
- Must have the ability to work independently
- This involves working for our residential clients on site
- You would be working alongside a crew of 4 to 7 team members and they report directly to the Foreman on site
- Working in outdoors on a residential construction site, you would be assisting labourers and Foreman
- Working on field and city projects throughout the City of Ottawa and surrounding areas
- Proper training will be provided on site with the successful applicant

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 1 to 2 years of construction related background is required
- Experience operating equipment would be an asset
- Valid driver’s license with own transportation is required
- Health and Safety training/Knowledge (Confined Space, trenching and excavation, First Aid/CPR an asset)
- Ability to work in all different types of weather conditions
- Experience working in an outdoor construction environment with experience using power tools
- Potential for weekend work and working nights as needed
