**Position overview**

Are you a bit of a foodie that enjoys keeping up on trends in the food and beverage industry? Do you have an eye for detail and enjoys contract review and negotiations? Are you someone who has experience in project management building out retail units on time and on budget?

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Contributing to the development of the strategic plan, both in the long and short-term, allowing the department to meet its goals related to revenue generation, operational excellence and innovation
- Liaising with prospective tenants on commercial opportunities, product and category mix, passenger demographic, rent structure and financial models
- Negotiating future commercial agreements and working closely with third parties on development opportunities including food & beverage, utilizing different commercial formats (in-line, kiosk, cart, etc.) or other revenues streams
- Ensuring a full oversight of the portfolio, including driving improved performance (revenue target, KPIs, spend per passenger, product offering, merchandising, pricing, level of service, newness, physical appearance, etc.)
- Developing specific business plans and working with current operators to improve breadth, assortment and format of product mix, to ensure alignment with passenger composition and to expand online and digital capabilities platforms

**Key qualifications include**:

- 10 years’ recent, related experience in business development and negotiation and 5 years’ supervisory experience, supplemented by a bachelor’s degree in business; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience in a large, multi-category retail environment with strong commercial knowledge to drive revenue and improve customer experience
- Experience with commercial leasing, lease agreements and contracts
- Experience in property management, asset management and managing related 3rd party contracts and performance
- Demonstrated project management and implementation experience
- Ability to meet deadlines in a changing fast-paced work environment
