Partner & Category Marketing Specialist (14-month contract)

Join us as a specialist - partner & category marketing (which you might call a marketing manager or a marketing specialist), where you will develop and oversee the execution of a variety of category marketing campaigns for Best Buy Canada.

Make a difference on our retail marketing team as a specialist - partner & category marketing

What you’ll do:
- Develop and oversee the strategy & execution of marketing initiatives for defined categories, driving campaigns, promotions, and launches to achieve objectives like traffic & sales. This includes briefing, planning, budgeting, coordinating media tactics, and analyzing post-campaign results.- Work cross-functionally with partners on marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.- Possess in-depth knowledge of marketing tactics and their synergies, guiding vendor partners and internal teams to effectively reach and engage target audiences.- Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure mutual success.

What we’re looking for:
- Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, multi-tasking, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills- 5+ years in advertising, marketing or related function- 3+ years of experience in a retail or fast-paced environment- Expert knowledge of marketing disciplines and both online and offline marketing strategies and tactics- Experience with marketing planning tools (e.g. Wrike, Asana, Trello, etc.)- Experience in budget management
