Crossgrove is currently hiring a full-time Insurance and Living Benefits Administrative Specialist. A hybrid work model is available with remote and in office, located in Sudbury, Ontario.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build excellent rapport with our clients and insurance providers to drive client retention.
- Assist clients with their individual insurance policy updates & changes.
- Assist with payment processing at insurance providers.
- Prepare and analyze insurance summaries for clients.
- Support the sales team by running quotes and creating insurance presentations for prospects.
- Order medical underwriting requirements.
- Follow up on medical underwriting updates.
- Coordinate final policy delivery to clients.
- Track and trigger client policy renewals, future increase options, and conversion expiry dates.
- Prepare client meeting files.
- Schedule client meetings with advisors.
- Communicate with Advisors, Insurance Providers and Tax Specialists as required.
- Maintain client information in Customer Relation Management System and ensure appropriate record keeping of client files.
- Provide cash surrender values as required.
- Facilitate claims.
- Exercise the utmost confidentiality in receiving medical records from clients.
- Stay current with insurance changes in the industry.
- Identify, improve, and develop systems and processes whenever possible.
- Complete additional projects and duties as required.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Post-secondary graduate from an accredited college or university degree or a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) is considered a strong asset (not required immediately).
- Exceptional analytical skills; ability to identify optimal solutions for clients and mitigate possible risks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Detail oriented with strong data management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate ownership of actions.
- Excellent organizational skills and well-developed problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude with a desire to grow and learn.
- Ability to deliver high quality work in a timely manner, in a fast-paced professional environment.
- French language would be considered an asset.
