Description:
SPS Commerce is growing We are looking to add a **Consultant I** who is _Obsessed with Customers_ and has a _Get After it attitude_ to join our **Analytics Support** **team**. The Consultant I is responsible for ensuring all point-of-sale retailer data expected to be received has been collected and processed within a specified timeframe. This is accomplished through being an expert on point-of-sale data as well as the data communication methods, collection, warehousing, and reporting processes. The Consultant interacts with our global teams of supplier support, tech-ops, development, and product teams to ensure data is flowing accurately, timely, and comprehensively. To accomplish, the Consultant works directly with the retailer, supplier, or third party to troubleshoot issues related to data quality, receipt, and discrepancies in order resolve customer inquiries.

**Day to Day**

As a Consultant I you will work among a team of professionals responsible for developing standardized solutions to acquire and process data for our customers. You will research, isolate, diagnose, resolve, and collaborate internally and externally on problems encountered during production. You will also be considering how to prevent this problem from occurring again or how we can execute the resolution better and faster. When necessary, you will also manage escalated events with other internal teams and outside companies as appropriate.
- Maintain timely delivery of SPS Commerce products on a weekly basis by ensuring all data has been collected and processed within expectations.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with multiple levels of users, managers, and executives across all relevant departments within the retailer’s organization.
- Respond to and resolve retailer and customer issues according to SPS standards in a timely, complete, and professional manner.
- Work with our development and implementation teams to identify and implement solutions to time-sensitive and high visibility issues.
- Investigate quality control failures and resolve or escalate to appropriate team as needed.
- Maintain a disciplined approach for documenting statuses and resolutions to issues.
- Identify trends in processing that require manual effort and develop strategies to reduce those instances.
- Provide guidance to contractors and work with them solving issues.
- Ability to work a Sunday (1:00PM to 11:00 PM EST/EDT) through Thursday rotation shared amongst the team.
- Ability to work a rotational holiday production coverage schedule.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in business or information systems, with retail, supply chain, statistics, or similar concentration.
- Well developed communication and business management skills.
- Ability to translate and clearly communicate business issues and technical information to individuals with varied levels of expertise.
- Ability to apply, test, and configure data rules to produce desired results.
- Leadership skills reflective of an entrepreneurial and innovative thought process.
- Strong analytical ability with passion for data analysis.
- Working knowledge of various data standards, tools, and technologies such as EDI, C#, SQL, Excel, Snowflake, AS2, SFTP, and VANs.
- 1-2 years prior business analysis experience required.

**Preferred Experience**
- Familiarity with standard SPS procedures.
- Maintain and self-manage progress on Customer Satisfaction metrics: Metrics include timely deliverables, quality data, complete analyses, prompt case resolution, reliable project lifecycles, broad adoption of services, user expansion, effective training.
