Junior Parts Advisor

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Junior Parts Advisor / Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual role will primarily involve assisting our Parts Department in handling inventory, assisting both internal and external customers, and delivering automotive parts to our valued clients.

**Parts Advisory**:

- Assist customers in identifying and ordering the right automotive parts.
- Provide product information, pricing, and availability.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in inventory management.
- Obtain required information to place special orders and ensure that the correct parts are sent.
- Entails over-the-counter sales of parts and special ordering parts for customers and for the Service Department.
- Involves ensuring that parts arrive, that they are the correct parts, and that those who ordered them know of their arrival.
- Order shop supplies as requested by the service department.
- Process and administer tire warranty program.
- Receive incoming wholesale phone calls and ship or order parts as required.
- Follow up on parts ordered for wholesale customers and arrange delivery or pickup.

**Delivery Driver**:

- Safely and efficiently deliver automotive parts to customers in a timely manner.
- Handle and organize deliveries, ensuring the correct items are delivered.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle and perform routine inspections.
- Make our customers feel important, and that we appreciate their business.
- Ensure the parts vehicle is always clean and safe.
- Assist with any customer inquiries.

**Customer Service**:

- Build strong relationships with customers by offering exceptional service and expertise.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues professionally and promptly.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the Parts Department team to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet department and company goals.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts or a strong willingness to learn.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts as needed.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
