**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of employees that are responsible for supporting the effective and efficient disposition of adjudicative matters
- Provide expertise, guidance and advice to Executive Management, OEB staff and external stakeholders on all areas of procedural decisions and adjudication
- Partner with Registrar, staff, and Commissioners to address complex issues around procedural processes
- Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders involved in the adjudicative process for feedback and suggestions including OEB staff, Commissioners, applicants, and intervenors
- Prepare formal reports, provide operational metrics, and recommend solutions for review and endorsement by senior leaders to improve business service delivery
- Direct the responses to enquiries from government agencies, applicants, intervenors, consumers, and others with respect to OEB adjudicative processes

Qualifications:

- University degree in Political Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration or Law, or related discipline
- A graduate degree or professional designation is an asset, such as Juris Doctor, J.D., or equivalent legal training
- 7 years’ experience in one of the following: regulation, law, compliance, utility operations, or other service-oriented role
- 3 to 5 years of management experience in a regulated industry, utility, public sector, or not-for-profit setting. Experience managing in a unionized environment is an asset
- Proven skills influencing, building rapport and stakeholder relations
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams
- Knowledge of provincial government structure, operations, and decision-making
- Knowledge of the adjudicative processes of a regulatory tribunal
