Floral Events Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Floral Events Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind the successful execution of our floral events, working closely with clients, our design team, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery and stunning results.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Consultation & Design**:
- Meet with clients to understand their vision, style, budget, and specific requirements for their event.
- Collaborate with our design team to translate client ideas into detailed floral proposals, including mood boards, design sketches, and cost estimates.
- Present proposals to clients, explaining design concepts and addressing any questions or concerns.
**Project Management & Coordination**:
- Manage all aspects of the floral event planning process, from initial consultation to final execution.
- Develop detailed timelines, checklists, and production schedules to ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with vendors, including growers, wholesalers, and delivery services, to ensure timely delivery of fresh, high-quality flowers and materials.
- Liaise with other event vendors, such as venues, caterers, and planners, to ensure seamless integration of floral elements into the overall event design.
**On-Site Execution & Supervision**:
- Oversee the delivery, set-up, and breakdown of floral arrangements on-site at events.
- Supervise and guide a team of floral assistants to ensure all arrangements are installed according to design specifications.
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during set-up and ensure that the final presentation exceeds client expectations.
**Administration & Sales**:
- Maintain accurate records of client information, orders, invoices, and payments.
- Process payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Prepare sales reports and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
**Qualifications**:
- **Proven Experience**: Minimum 2 years of experience in floral design or event coordination, preferably in a wedding or special events setting.
- **Floral Expertise**: Strong knowledge of floral varieties, design techniques, and seasonal availability.
- **Project Management**: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors.
- **Sales Aptitude**: Proven ability to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- **Computer Literacy**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Docs.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
