We are looking for an experienced **HSEC Advisor** to join our growing team. You will provide advice and expertise to Project Management and Supervisors on the implementation and maintenance of onsite HSEC management systems on Ausenco project construction sites.

**About the Role**
- Understand accountabilities and demonstrate an understanding of relevant health and safety requirements, hazard management, to conduct all activities and behave in a responsible manner.
- Take corrective action for unhealthy, unsafe or environmentally unsound work practices.
- Comply with relevant Ausenco policies and procedures and work within legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Assist in the creation of safe worksites by addressing all HSEC issues on project sites in conjunction with project managers and promoting the risk management programs.
- Monitor and encourage reporting of all incidents, including near misses.

- Monitor and encourage reporting of all incidents, including near misses.
- Conduct accident and incident investigations by contacting the involved parties and reporting outcomes.
- Verify, in conjunction with Manager - HSEC, project managers and contractors that first-aid facilities and emergency procedures are in place.

**About You**
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Health, Safety and Environment.
- Experience in a trade role or similar in a heavy industry environment.
- Knowledge of current regulations and construction safety processes.
- Ability to plan and implement HSE management on project sites.
- Public speaking and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationship and lead others towards a common goal.
- Accuracy and attention to detail; ability to plan, organise and monitor work in the short and long term.
- Relevant experience in construction and site safety.
- Experience working with contractors.
- Experience managing meetings and preparing information.
- Experienced in conducting project audits and inspections.
- Experienced in conducting HSEC contract reviews.
- Must be able to positively engage with team members and promote HSEC awareness and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge and experience of the regulatory approvals processes and related Government processes and relevant legislative requirements.
