**Role Description**:
This is a full-time on-site role for a **Project Estimator/Project Coordinator** specialized in **Aluminum and Glazing**. The position requires expertise in aluminum fabrication, project estimation, and coordination of project execution, along with strong proficiency in material take-offs, AutoCAD, pricing, and generating quotations using tools such as MS Office Suite, Bluebeam and Logikal.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and scope of work related to Gutmann North America projects.
- Assist management with client coordination, estimation, and project execution, including analyzing client inquiries, generating material take-offs, pricing projects, preparing quotations, and maintaining a commercial log.
- Estimate costs for GNA’s full product range, including Unitized and Stick Curtain Wall systems, Window Wall systems, Entrance and Terrace doors, Storefronts, Bi-fold systems, Minimal systems, and various Window systems.
- Use MS Excel, Bluebeam and Logikal to generate accurate estimates and prepare detailed quotations for client submissions complying with project specifications while supporting the sales team in securing projects.
- Track and analyze actual project costs against estimated/budgeted costs and update management on sales opportunities regularly.
- Collaborate closely with technical design teams to interpret project drawings and specifications, ensuring alignment on cost and scheduling factors.
- Work with the commercial team to procure prices for extrusions, hardware, and accessories from internal and external suppliers.
- Review and make changes to estimates as required, coordinating with suppliers to place orders for material and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Manage and maintain the GNA commercial log, tracking proposals, pricing trends, and cost fluctuations using project management software (i.e ClickUp)
- Participate in ongoing training to improve knowledge, software utilization, and best practices.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for estimation, ensuring organized and timely project completion.

**Qualifications**:

- **Project Coordination & Estimation**: Proven experience in project coordination and estimation, specifically with pricing systems in the building façade industry.
- **Personal Attributes**: A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities under pressure.
- **Educational Background**: A university or college degree in Business, Architecture, or Engineering (preferably Civil or Mechanical).
- **Soft Skills**: Highly Organized individual with strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- **Location**: Must be available to work from our offices in Oakville, Ontario during standard office hours.
- **Legal Status**: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada or the USA without needing a work permit.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
