What you can expect
- Responsibilities:
- Working with clients in a variety of settings including personal dwellings, apartments, retirement homes, etc.
- Provide respite care to caregivers
- Activities of Daily Living which includes bathing, shower, toileting dressing, etc.
- Transferring Assistance using a variety of methods
- Assist with Mobility using safe techniques and aids
- Incontinence care
- Medication reminder
- Light meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Emotional support
- Assist with exercising
- Companionship/Social Support
- Errand/Transportation assistance
Position Requirements:
Part-time:
- available for 15-25 hours per week
- able to work every other weekend and holidays
- days and afternoons available
Casual:
- flexible scheduling according to your needs
- no minimum required
All Positions:
- must have own vehicle and be able to travel outside of Brantford to surrounding areas (ex. Paris, St. George, Mt. Pleasant, Scotland, etc.)
- able to work in a variety of environments including some with risks such as animals, smoking, etc.
- physically capable of lifting up to 40lbs. and completing prescribed transfer methods

Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation as you are required to travel outside Brantford.
Clear Vulnerable Sector Police check required. Up-to-date vaccinations including measles required. CPR/First Aid preferred but not required.
