Spryfield Physiotherapy has an immediate opening for an individual with a great sense of humour, organized (a must), and wants to help people get better. If you have these personality traits and the right qualifications, we can train the rest. The job involves multiple areas of occupational health and rehabilitation. You would be an important part of our rehab team and play a significant role in getting people better. Preference will be given to individuals looking for a permanent position and wanting to progress with our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the attending Physiotherapist with return to work planning, exercise programming and use of modalities
- Worker's Compensation Board (WCB) organization and completion of forms. Responsible for completing Form A, B, C, and E as appropriate and conduct functional testing
- Communication with doctors and employers for successful and timely return to work
- Work under the direction of the Physiotherapist with treatment and progression of treatment
- Perform employer assessments such as Physical Demands Analysis (PDA) and Physical Abilities Reports (PAR) to assess job capability of patients
- Prepare progress and discharge reports as directed by attending Physiotherapist
- Complete testing for SureHire Occupational Testing (training provided)
- Attend to the gym area ensuring it is clean, organized and free of safety hazards
- Potential shared duties with office staff

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate of a Kinesiology program, or having the credentials for PT assistant, Athletic Therapist or Personal Trainer
- First Aid Certified
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Empathetic to effectively build rapport with patients
- Ability to multi-task required
- Able to work as a team, as well as independently
- Knowledgeable with computers
- Experience with "Jane" (preferred, not required)

**Training Period may include 2-4 weeks of longer hours until training is complete.**
