**Position Summary**:
The Data Integration (DI) Specialist’s role is to plan, develop, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the integration of data across various platforms, this includes traditional EDI, API, and more.

The DI Specialist is also responsible for monitoring data flow between databases, servers, and Cloud services to identify and implement the most suitable DI architecture for the organization’s needs. The DI Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all DI-related procedures are maintained and properly executed, including development, change requests, and enterprise integration projects. The DI Specialist will act as a liaison between end users/IT department/vendors/customers/management to maintain our integration.

**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

- Design, develop, document, and implement strategic integrations of new data and data stores into existing systems and infrastructure throughout the enterprise, including but not limited to the:
Finance System

EDI systems

SQL databases

O365

Systems for SSRS reporting, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps
- Perform system configuration, mapping, and management for EDI-based transactions and processes.
- Document technical proposals, estimates, system, test and implementation plans, processes and procedures.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards for KPI, active issues, systems status, and process status.
- Build and maintain automation for error trapping, resolution and reporting.
- Enhance/improve business processes via integration. Minimize the impact of integration on the processes.
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve service levels and technical environment/infrastructure reliability.
- Coordinate with 3rd party EDI service providers/vendors/customers to set up new processes to implement EDI changes into production.
- Troubleshoot and remediate failed EDI transactions in a timely manner.
- Provide end-user support for production systems and processes.
- Participate in rotating on-call.
- Multitask projects and support activities, managing shifting priorities on a daily basis.
- Project management participation including requirements gathering, developing estimates, reporting on risks and issues, and meeting milestone dates.

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years in an EDI and full stack testing role, preferably within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to take ownership of projects ensuring successful completion while communicating progress and risks along the way.
- Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Outstanding writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Good working knowledge of X12 standards for warehousing and transportation.
- Experience with VANs, AS2, and/or other communication methods.
- Good understanding of data integrations using flat files and APIs.
- Experience with the RAMP and Koerber product stacks are an asset.

**Academic/Education Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, or a relevant field.
- Additional Certification and/or Designation is an asset.
