**As the Electronics and Physics Team Lead you will**:

- Participate in the design and review process for new and revised circuit boards, with due consideration for robustness, manufacturability and component availability.
- Write test plans, conduct testing, and ensure products comply with EMI and other regulatory requirements.
- Contributes to the definition, design, and development of novel projects involving control systems, optics, magnetism, precision sensing and actuation with due consideration for the business case of those projects.
- Participate in long-term strategic and product management decisions involving electronics and physics
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure that multidisciplinary projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Keep the team connected to other teams and the company by representing the team, and sharing information.
- Keep the team organized by helping with Project Management. Assist the team with scheduling, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Be responsible for staffing, compensation, motivation, career development, and caring for the wellbeing of team members.

**You're the ideal Electronics and Physics Team Lead if you**:

- Have experience leading a technical team.
- Have a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Engineering Physics, or equivalent.
- Have at least 10 years of experience working with electronics design.
- Have a broad understanding of other fundamental areas relevant to motion control, such as firmware, control systems, optics, magnetics, materials, test and measurement techniques, and manufacturing technologies.
- Have an automation mindset - figure out ways to improve efficiency by reducing the need for human attention for repetitive tasks.
- Are interested in the logistics and business side of a manufacturing operation; capable of making strategic decisions with both business and technical consideration in mind.
- Are interested in people - have empathy, and understand how to motivate a team to do their best work.
- Are excited to work with a diverse group of people in simplifying motion control, robotics, and automation in general.

- The starting wage for the role is $60-$80/hour depending on experience.
