**Reports to the **Store Manager** and **Assistant Store Manager**.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**

**Store Maintenance**:

- Keep all store areas clean and organized, including sales floor, office and back store area.
- Monitor and maintain maintenance logs.
- Perform general housekeeping duties.

**Customer Service**
- Conduct product promotions including sampling and educating customers on product knowledge.
- Provide exceptional customer experience, The Kin’s Experience; and create a friendly shopping atmosphere.
- Effectively work the cash till, wrap or place merchandise in bags, and promote products to customers.
- Inspire and guide Sales Associates to offer excellent customer service and to promote products.
- Resolve customer concerns leading to improved customer satisfaction.

Cash Management and Other Administrative Duties
- Calculate total payments received at the end of work shift and reconcile with total sales in order to maintain the accuracy of cash flow; balance the till at the end of the shift and make the daily deposit.
- Maintain and secure money in the safe, change box, and minimize shortage levels.
- Helps in generating and filing reports / documents according to company’s standards.
- Assist to produce labeling, printing of price signs & ensure proper tracking of different company logs, such as quality control log, etc.
- Approve timecards daily timecards if on closing shift.

General Store Operation
- Follow instructions from the SM and AM; report promptly on any important store operation issues/concerns.
- Assist in store ordering when required by Senior Store Management.
- Generate receiving report and help with filing or other administrative duties.
- Change pricing on products as instructed by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
- Coordinate activities related to daily operation and support other miscellaneous duties assigned by the managers.
- Hold the store keys to open and/or secure the store premises before leaving the store.
- Check quality and quantity of products upon receiving and on display routinely.
- Monitor inventory quantities and product turnover to minimize spoilage and improve quality control.
- Stock shelves, setup merchandising, and maintain full product displays on sales floor with good quality in all sections.
- Trim products as needed to ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Receive, load, and pack produce.
- Perform store inventory check as instructed by supervisors.
- Conduct proper store closing and preparation procedures for next day operation.

People Management
- Assist with the management of employees including employee relations, training, scheduling, and directing work of Sales Associates.
- Provide feedback on Sales Associate performance to SM or AM for performance appraisals.
- Monitor and coach Sales Associates on proper procedures to enhance staff productivity.
- Facilitate with the communication of morning huddle information to all staff.
- Contribute to the achievement of store action plans and performance goals.
- Help to arrange staff breaks according to company’s working guidelines.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
