Upper Canada Child Care is looking for passionate and committed child care professionals to join our Team located at MacLeod's Landing PS (Richmond Hill).

We are currently recruiting Registered Early Childhood Educators or equivalent (Child and Youth Worker or OCT Member)

**Starting Pay**:
RECE $21.07 - $24.79/hour plus Wage Enhancement Grant ($2.00/hr) and Split Shift Premium ($2.00/hr).

**Position Types**: Full Time (25-40 hours/week)

Upper Canada Child Care has over 30 years of experience in child care and education. We are a non-profit, government-licensed organization operating centres in communities throughout Toronto, York Region, and Simcoe County. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (or approved equivalency) from a recognized college or university.
- A recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Health assessment and up-to-date record of immunization as outlined by legislation.
- Up-to-date registration with the College of ECEs (if applicable).
- Up-to-date certification in CPR-C and Standard First Aid (training provided upon selection if required).
- Experience with program design and implementation, preferably play/inquiry based with the use of pedagogical documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish appropriate relationships with families, caregivers and other professionals.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain professional disposition.
- Have the physical and emotional stamina to supervise children in a variety of settings including outdoor public spaces.
