- Post-secondary education with an emphasis on HR or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Human Resource Generalist or payroll role;
- CHRP designation would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work well within cross-functional teams;
- Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks;
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to relate to all employees in a positive, constructive and respectful manner

Key Responsibilities:

- Schedule hourly employees for work on a daily basis
- Responsible for hourly payroll submissions and related functions
- Maintain employee data in HRIS system and EZ Labour
- Responsible for general receptionist and office management duties
- Assist with accounting functions such as preparation of the daily cost reports
- Employee relations
- Employee communication and correspondence
- Assists in implementation and delivery of HR programs and policies
- Other HR functions including, but not limited to, investigation of hourly benefits, employee complaints/concerns performance incentives, health and safety, disability management, onboarding, retention, training and development.
- Maintain Growers database to ensure timely payments
- Support other initiatives as required
