**Responsibilities**:

- Assist optometrists with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform preliminary tests and measurements
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and organized
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Educate patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Assist with frame selection and dispensing/repair of eyewear
- Process insurance claims and verify patient eligibility
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients
- Handle front desk duties including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and checking patients in/out

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a medical office or optical setting is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in retail sales and customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed

**Salary**: $17.25-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
