**Referral Coordinator 0.8 FTE**

The Referral Coordinator provides support to the physicians of the St Albert and Sturgeon Primary Care Network and their patients by providing referral assistance. It supports the vision of seamless integrated care by being knowledgeable in health system navigation between the PCN, member clinics and specialists. The position is focused on patient experience and supporting physicians in delivering care in a professional, systematic, transparent, and trusting manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Medical Receptionist.
- Medical Office Administration Diploma or equivalent experience with medical terminology will be considered.
- Transcription Certification an asset.
- Typing ability of 60 wpm.
- Excellent communication skills.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of three years’ experience working in a medical setting.
- Working knowledge of M365 suite, and Adobe.
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record system [HealthQuest] and NetCare an asset.
- Knowledge of E-Fax programs (GFI)
- Awareness of programs and services of AHS and other agencies in the community.
- Specialist/program referral experience an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 30 per week
