Some of what you will do:
As a Campaign Analyst at Staples Canada, you will be an integral part of the Staples Canada Enterprise Analytics team and play a critical role in supporting our Marketing department by utilizing business, problem solving, data mining and analysis skills. Your primary responsibilities will include providing data-driven insights, marketing campaign forecasting, post-campaign analysis and operational KPI reporting automation.

**Specifically, You Will**:

- Partner with the marketing team to identify data requirements for marketing campaigns
- Use traditional analytics and predictive/statistical modelling techniques to identify and quantify sales drivers and optimize campaign targeting and effectiveness
- Partner with the marketing team to develop and maintain interactive and actionable dashboards in Power BI and Looker
- Provide weekly/periodically KPI reporting to Marketing team
- Conduct what-if scenario analysis, identify key trends, opportunities and areas for improvement to enhance future campaign strategies
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure model predictions are consistent with business intuition, explainable and efficiently integrated into processes
- Plan, track and manage multiple requests of various nature: quick ad-hoc analysis requests, reporting support issues, medium-scale process improvement initiatives, formal long-term project implementations
- Conduct thorough post-campaign analysis to evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and promotions

Some of what you need:

- BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Business or other related field. Strong academic profile with an emphasis on quantitative coursework (e.g., degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics or Engineering).
- Strong analytical skills including but not limited to data mining, data modeling, database design and segmentation strategies
- Advanced technical skills in SQL, Excel, Database systems and programming tools like Python, R
- Experience with Google products (GCP/ Big Query, Looker, Google Analytics) and data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
- Clear understanding of marketing KPIs, previous experience in marketing and/or retail analytics an asset
- Project oriented, pro-active, and self-motivated work style with outstanding organizational skills and dedication to quality and integrity
