Health Care Aide

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist clients with ambulation, feeding, bathing and grooming.
- Consult with care manager on activities, needs and problems related to client care.
- Transfers client in/out of bed, to/from wheelchair, toilet and chair using one or two person transfers or mechanical lifts as per the client care plan.
- Assist to the client with nutritional assistance. e.g. meals. Report any appetite/fluid intake changes or concerns immediately to the Nurse.
- Document client care according to established procedures and reports concerns, problems and/or changes.
- Adhere to policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, and environment.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Health Care Aide certification.
- Long Term Care experience.
- Recent and clear Criminal Record Check
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
**Job Types: Full time.**
**Salary starts: $20.00 per hour**
**Schedule : flexible schedule (daytime, evening)**
COVID-19 considerations:
All workers must wear a mask, gloves, and socially distance from clients when possible. We do not service care homes and only service individual clientele in their own homes.
