**Landscaping Team leader job description**

The team leader will be required to accomplish the tasks listed below, but not limited to, and ensure projects are installed respecting deadlines and quality standards, while ensuring team members under his supervision accomplish their tasks.

Tasks directly related to the successful installation of projects under his supervision,
- Fill and update a project management per project daily,
- Plan to ensure availability of personnel and equipment as well as sub-contractors,
- Communicate with the client during installation,
- Confirm proper installation site access are available,
- Locate underground water, gaz and electrical conduits,
- Delineate the perimeter of the project with posts and wire or laser
- Ensure access to a source of water,
- Excavate as per the products to be installed,
- Remove and dispose of all materials excavated,
- Install geomembrane to prevent contamination of the foundation,
- Evaluate, spread and level crushed stones as required depending on the product to be installed,
- Water the crushed stones without creating water accumulation,
- Compact the crushed stones with adequate equipment,
- Cover with rock dust and level perfectly with a 2 x 4 or an aluminum levelling bar,
- Ensure the foundation is perfectly levelled before installing any cobblestones,
- Validate that the pattern chosen is the correct one with the client,
- Lay pallets of cobblestones strategically,
- Install cobblestones,
- Supervise the use of the saw to minimize waste and correctness,
- Fill the joints with polymere sand,
- Remove any excess sand,
- Water the surfaces with a thin film of water once (1) or twice (2) as per the sand used,
- Measure the overall final installed surfaces,

To ensure the company operates effectively and efficently the team leader will ensure the following,
- Preventive maintenance of all equipment (cleaning, greasing, oiling),
- Preventive maintenance of all vehicles (cleaning, greasing, oil, air),
- Maintain clean parking space at all time,
- Optimize the use of our garage,
- Maintain installation clean at all time,
- Respect safety and health measures and procedures at all time,

General requirements,
- Show up for work before his team every work day,
- Inform the employees when a day’s work has to be cancelled for any reason,

- Record the starting time of each day of work by sending it par Messenger to the administrator,
- Record the end time of each day of work by sending it par Messenger to the administrator,
- Ensure each team member record his start and end work time each day to the administrator,
- Plan each day of work,
- Ensure best utilisation of human resources, equipment and sub-contractors,
- Work on building on the abilities of each and everyone of the team members,
- Daily evaluate the performance of his team members,
- Respect of self, members of the team and client at all time,
- Act professionally and be a good example for his team when at work, at all time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
