**The Company**

Durham Brewing Company, Durham region’s oldest craft brewery, was established in 1996. C’est What opened its doors in 1988, the first craft beer bar in Toronto. In 2021 the two came together as C’est What Durham Brewing.

We are a small brewery (8 HL brewhouse, 1500 HL annual capacity) producing English-style ales along with well-balanced brews in contemporary flavours. We are looking to grow what has been a bar/restaurant-focused business through more direct-to-consumer sales. Throughout this growth phase we will remain focused on providing our customers with top quality and consistent products.

**The Job**

Applicants should be energetic, self-motivated, and organized.

We are looking for one or two people to fill the following part-time roles:
1. **Retail Store Coverage, Brewery Assistance**
- Managing the Tasting Room/Retail Store Fridays from 2:00 to 6:00 pm and Sundays from Noon to 4:00 pm.
- Monitoring and developing content for our social media feeds.
- Assisting our Master Brewer with operational tasks such as keg cleaning and sanitation.

Approximately 10-16 hours per week.

2. **Deliveries**
- The front line of interaction with our licensed customers. Timely and safe delivery of beer (up to 50 litre kegs, i.e. 145 lb) to our customers using the company van. Our deliveries take place on either Fridays or Saturdays. Applicants for this role should be at least 25 years old with a good driving record.

Approximately 6-8 hours per week.

**Qualifications**

While previous experience in retail and the brewing industry would be beneficial it is not essential. What is important:

- A strong work ethic, productive without supervision.
- ‘Can do’ attitude.
- Creativity and flexibility with a willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for quality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Some mechanical inclination is helpful.
- The ability to work a flexible schedule would be a bonus.

The starting wage will be set according to experience and will increase as skill and knowledge increases.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 24 per week
