**Supervisor (Group Leader), Machine Maintenance Stamping (Preventative Maintenance)**

Job Summary

The Machine Maintenance Group Leader (Preventative Maintenance) is responsible for developing, scheduling, managing, and executing all preventative maintenance requirements covering all production machinery and equipment. The Machine Maintenance, Group Leader contributes to the ongoing upkeep of the facility, machinery, equipment, and plant operations by providing mechanical repairs, adjustments and executing routine preventative maintenance necessary to mitigate downtime occurrences. As a strong project coordinator, the Machine Maintenance, Group Leader will contribute to setting priorities, delegating resources, coordinating tasks, setting goals and communicating effectively with other departments and team members. This position is an integral member of the Machine Maintenance team driving overall equipment effectiveness, through a systematic approach of planning, improving production efficiencies and achieving KPI’s.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Plan, organize, supervise and control shift operations.
- Plan, organize, supervise and control planned equipment repairs and improvements.
- Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
- Maintain appropriate records regarding equipment and servicing.
- Ensure safe working procedures and good housekeeping practices.
- Identify safety, quality and productivity deficiencies and implement countermeasures.
- Partner with other departments to execute the preventative maintenance program.
- Provide leadership support for the Machine Maintenance team.
- Participate in projects and initiatives as required.

Education/Experience Desired:

- Previous supervisory experience
- Manufacturing experience, automotive is an asset
- Licensed/ticketed trade experience is an asset

Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
