**Job Summary**:
The Group Leader will be responsible for the shift supervision in the Production department (Welding/Stamping). The Group Leader will coordinate activities of Team Members to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations while promoting a team environment and improving all methods. This position works either a two-shift rotation for the Welding department (Days and Afternoons) or three-shift rotation for the Stamping department (Days, Afternoons, Midnights).

**Responsibilities include, but not limited to**:

- Review production schedule to ensure manufacturing of product(s) is completed and scheduled delivery dates are met.
- Plan and review production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent delays.
- Utilize the appropriate personnel based on skill set.
- Evaluate, develop, and ensure appropriate training processes are completed when employees move to different jobs.
- Ensure safety and quality requirements and procedures for the area are understood and met.
- Provide assistance to team members in solving problems/concerns that affect their performance.
- Develop and coordinate cost reduction activities to achieve yearly targets.
- Monitor and make adjustments to meet expectations for quality, productivity, 5S and safety**.**

**Education/Experience Desired**:

- Strong technical skills (manufacturing and mechanical)

- Minimum three years manufacturing experience
- Supervisory experience

Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.

**Salary**: $15.50-$15.51 per hour
