**Job title: HR Operations Associate (12 Month Contract)**
**Location: Sterling Road (Toronto) Factory, ON**

**Position Summary**
We are looking for a Human Resources Operations Associate based at our Sterling Road Factory to join our HR Operations teams starting January 2024. This role will be responsible for labour relations, updating employee records, hourly recruitment, and support with various learning and development projects.

**A day in the life of a Human Resources Operations Associate**
As a Human Resources Operations Associate you will be working on various projects and gain hands-on practical experience to build your business acumen and develop your HR operations skills. Based on the team you are placed in

**You will also**:

- Provide a full range of administrative and technical support to the Human Resources team
- Provide support to Front Line Leadership and unionized employees with high quality information, advice and service.
- Act as liaison with union to achieve positive labour relations
- Manage Attendance Management System to provide accurate updated info of hourly employees’ absenteeism record
- Support onboarding process with respective new hires.
- Assist with the execution of Recruitment related events.
- Assist with Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives in the factory.
- Support with the preparation and delivery of the HR team Presentations.
- Contribute to team projects/initiatives as assigned
- Provide inputs of labour planning into production planning, and measure labour requirements based on production plan

**You will also**:

- Have completed an undergraduate or post-graduate degree/diploma in a Human Resources program or Industrial Relations related discipline.
- Be working towards or have achieved a CHRP designation
- A results and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Assertive, well-organized with the ability to adapt to change.
- Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
- Team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively across all functions and levels.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Superior telephone manner with demonstrated customer service skills.
- Must be comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Strong computer proficiency (Word, Excel).
- Bilingualism (French/English) considered an asset.
