If you have exceptional sales capabilities, knowledge of personal insurance, and are interested in working within a team-oriented atmosphere - this may be the position for you.
The individual would need to be proactive and personable with the ability to build strong relationships with everyone in the office. They need to be able to work with mínimal supervision and comfortable simplifying insurance coverage to the prospective clients. They must be organized, able to work efficiently, and able switch from task to task with ease. The benefit of this role is that you also get to be a problem solver and help the potential clients find the insurance coverage they need for the best premium you can find them.
Salary for this role would be determined based on experience, with 50% commission being paid on any business that is solicited by the individual (including cross sells). This compensation allows the individual to have a solid base salary with an opportunity to make more based-on sales performance.
Highlights About the Position:
- Must strive to meet and exceed all customer expectations.
- Answer in bound sales calls and handle out bound follow up calls.
- Document, upload, and key in new business to the company portals.
- Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
About You:
- Post-Secondary Education or Equivalent Experience
- RIBO License is an asset
- Working knowledge of a Broker Management System (BMS) is an asset. Knowledge of Power Broker and Applied Rating Services is an asset
- Familiarity with various company portals is an asset

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
