**Hours**: upto 24 hours per week

**Salary**:$16.44 - $25.29
**What you will do**:
Reporting to the Associate Director-Operations, the Customer Service Assistant is responsible for welcoming people to the Faculty of Business and providing information about programs and services. Customer service responsibilities includes fielding questions and enquires from the public, prospective students, applicants, current students, faculty and support staff regarding all facets of the Faculty of Business both in person and by telephone. The incumbent is required to provide accurate, timely, information in accordance with applicable guidelines, policies and procedures.
The incumbent will assist with a variety of administrative functions to ensure the effective and functional day-to-day operations of the office. This will include operating and maintaining standard office equipment (photocopiers, printers, shredder scanner etc.), unpacking, storing and replenishing office supplies, distributing mail, creating gift bags etc.
The incumbent will support two office areas at north campus. However, the Customer Service Assistant may also be required to work at Lakeshore campus on an as needed basis.
**What you bring to the role**:
- 2-year diploma in, Business or Office Administration
- A minimum of 2 years practical work experience, preferably in a busy post-secondary customer service environment
- The incumbent will have excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, listening and customer relations skill with the ability to relate professionally and respectfully to a wide cross section of people representing diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work in a diverse, dynamic, multicultural environment with scarce resources
- High degree of attention and focus to detail
