**Position Overview**:
As **_Housekeeping Manager_** you will ensure the utmost cleanliness and hygiene of our entire entertainment and gaming complex. You'll be in charge of not only operating but also ensuring the meticulous maintenance of various specialized cleaning equipment to uphold our impeccable standards. Through your leadership, you will guide and inspire the team to achieve excellence in cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction. Your attention to detail will be a driving force in creating a welcoming and hygienic atmosphere, ensuring that every visit to our complex is memorable and enjoyable.

**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure a clean and hygienically safe environment for our customers and employees.
- Create weekly schedules and monitor time attendance for the custodial team.
- In collaboration with the Facilities Director, identify and recommend opportunities for improving custodial services.
- Coordinate and conduct floor inspections to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies.
- Monitor and maintain inventory efficiently.
- Respond promptly and accurately to customer requests.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Director to develop and implement procedures aimed at increasing productivity.
- Participate in the recruitment process and interviews.
- Oversee and mentor training efforts to ensure excellence and attention to detail in departmental tasks.
- Organize weekly task outlines in accordance with the company's needs.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of the custodial team's daily task checklist.
- Promote teamwork and recognize employee contributions.
- Conduct evaluations and issue disciplinary reports in accordance with company policies when necessary.
- Manage strategic planning and implementation processes for the Housekeeping department.
- Maintain ownership and awareness of the departmental operating budget.
- Ensure effective resource allocation, including scheduling, productivity, and vacation planning.
- Establish departmental goals, measurements, and results tracking.
- Track and address all guest comments and concerns to maintain service standards.
**Requirements**:
- Must be bilingual (English and French)
- 3 years previous housekeeping management experience required
- Strong computer skills (Excel required)
- Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Highly organized, punctual and a strong comprehension of time management
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bend and lift 20 pounds
- Must be willing to roll up their sleeves and assist with cleaning tasks as required
