Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
- Out of town, overnight (25% of the time)

**Location**:

- Orillia Ontario

**Experience**:

- Working at heights, climbing towers (100’ - 300’),
- Concrete work, forming, excavating, general labour,
- Rigger and tower experience is an asset,
- Working in the construction industry is an asset.

**Education**:

- High School Diploma,
- MOL: Working at Heights is an asset
- High Angle Rescue Certification is an asset,
- Structure/tower safety, safe climbing/rescue, and working techniques are assets,
- First aid and CPR is an asset.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Construct and maintain communication towers and equipment,
- Prepare equipment for installation,
- Assist with the construction of fibre networks,
- Assist internet installers with residential installations,
- Maintain vehicles, tools, and gear,
- Tower foundation construction,
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- “G” class drivers licence,
- Clean driver abstract,
- Have steel toe safety boots and hard hat,
- Have own basic tools (screwdriver, wire cutters, drills, etc.),
- Ability to work with small power tools, mechanically inclined,
- Ability to work in different weather conditions,
- Ability to work at heights,
- Ability to distinguish colors,
- Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written,
- Awareness of occupational health and safety and quality of work,
- Must pass the security police check,
- Bondable,
- Some out-of-town/overnight travel.
