Schedule:
8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

On call

Out of town, overnight (25% of the time)

**Experience**:
Working at heights, climbing towers (100’ - 300’),

Concrete work, forming, excavating, general labour,

Rigger and tower experience is an asset,

Working in the construction industry is an asset.

**Education**:
High School Diploma,

MOL: Working at Heights is an asset

High Angle Rescue Certification is an asset,

Structure/tower safety, safe climbing/rescue, and working techniques are assets,

First aid and CPR is an asset.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Construct and maintain communication towers and equipment,

Prepare equipment for installation,

Assist with the construction of fibre networks,

Assist internet installers with residential installations,

Maintain vehicles, tools, and gear,

Tower foundation construction,

Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
“G” class drivers licence,

Clean driver abstract,

Have steel toe safety boots and hard hat,

Have own basic tools (screwdriver, wire cutters, drills, etc.),

Ability to work with small power tools, mechanically inclined,

Ability to work in different weather conditions,

Ability to work at heights,

Ability to distinguish colors,

Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written,

Awareness of occupational health and safety and quality of work,

Must pass the security police check,

Bondable,

Some out-of-town/overnight travel.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
